Hawai’i’s Underwater Wonders

These photos were taken during summer 2019 in Hawai’i, and they are special to me because they represent my first experiences diving, snorkeling, and conducting underwater research in the Pacific Ocean! I was amazed by the abundance and diversity of marine life in these waters, feeling particularly mesmerized by the high coral cover and healthy populations of sea turtles in many areas. I hope these photos will help you catch a glimpse of the rich ocean resources that the Hawai’ian islands have to offer!
